The radar module emits high-frequency electromagnetic waves and measures the time delay of reflected signals from the water surface.
Advantages: Non-contact measurement, immune to variations in temperature, density, foam, or corrosive liquids.Applications: Suitable for environments with fluctuating water surfaces, high suspended solids, or gas interference.
Based on the hydrostatic principle—that liquid pressure is proportional to depth—the pressure sensor measures the static pressure exerted by the liquid and converts it into level height.
Advantages: Stable, accurate readings unaffected by surface turbulence.Applications: Ideal for long-term submerged environments.
The radar serves as the primary measurement unit, providing non-contact, high-precision liquid level data. The hydrostatic sensor acts as the auxiliary unit, offering redundant data and calibrating potential radar errors (e.g., poor liquid surface reflection conditions).
The system employs sensor fusion technology, using radar as the primary measurement source and the pressure sensor as a redundant calibration reference.
Through intelligent algorithms such as weighted averaging and Kalman filtering, data from both sensors are fused to compute the optimal water level output in real time.
