1. Product Introductions

    Accurate liquid level monitoring plays a crucial role in many fields such as urban drainage and industrial production. However, traditional liquid level monitoring equipment often exposes many limitations when facing harsh and non powered environments such as manholes.

    The product adopts advanced lithium battery power supply technology, featuring a unique ultra-low power consumption design that enables long-term stable operation without external power sources, effectively addressing power supply challenges in harsh environments. With an IP68 protection rating, it is completely dustproof and capable of prolonged immersion under water pressure, making it ideally suited for complex and demanding applications such as manholes.

     It designed with a highly integrated structure, the product ingeniously combines key components including a radar ranging module, pressure measurement module, RTU (Remote Terminal Unit), 4G communication module, and lithium battery.

2. Measurement principle

The integrated inspection well water level monitoring instrument is used for real-time water level monitoring in urban drainage systems, manholes and underground pipelines. Its working principle combines the advantages of two technologies (radar wave measurement and hydrostatic pressure sensing) to enhance measurement accuracy and reliability.

Radar wave measurement
It emits high-frequency electromagnetic waves and calculates the water level height by receiving the reflected echo signals from the water surface. This non-contact measurement method is unaffected by water density, temperature, foam, or corrosiveness, making it suitable for complex environments (such as water surface fluctuations, high levels of suspended solids, or gas interference).
Hydrostatic pressure water level measurement
Based on the principle of hydrostatics, which states that the static pressure of a liquid is proportional to the height of the liquid level. The sensor measures the pressure exerted by the liquid on the pressure sensor and converts it into the liquid level height.
Radar+hydrostatic fusion measurement

The radar serves as the primary measurement unit, providing non-contact, high-precision liquid level data. The hydrostatic sensor acts as the auxiliary unit, offering redundant data and calibrating potential radar errors (e.g., poor liquid surface reflection conditions).

Using algorithms such as weighted averaging and Kalman filtering, the system combines real-time data from both sensors to output the optimal liquid level value. For instance, if the radar fails due to foam or vapor interference, it automatically switches to hydrostatic data. Conversely, if the hydrostatic sensor malfunctions due to silt blockage, the system relies on radar data instead.


3. Function

Dual-mode liquid level measurement
The system utilizes a millimeter-wave radar ranging module to accurately measure liquid level distance, while also incorporating a pressure-based liquid level module. The two components complement each other for monitoring, effectively reducing environmental interference and ensuring the accuracy and stability of pipeline liquid level overflow measurement.
Smart Hierarchical Warning
The device features a built-in high-precision liquid level algorithm model, which accurately calculates liquid level data based on dynamic fluid analysis technology. It supports multi-level water level alerts and intelligently adjusts data collection /transmission frequency to ensure efficient and stable system operation.
Multi-center management
Equipped with a one-station, multi-transmission capability, the system can accurately deliver the data to multiple data centers, meeting the data management needs of multiple departments. This enhances data sharing efficiency and utilization rates, facilitating cross-departmental collaboration and enabling in-depth data analysis
