1. Instructions
The Radar Water Level Sensor is independently developed by our company, utilizing FMCW (Frequency-Modulated Continuous Wave) technology with a 60GHz millimeter-wave radar signal as the carrier wave. The product features high measurement accuracy, low power consumption, compact size, and lightweight design. Its measurement process remains unaffected by environmental factors such as temperature, air pressure, sediment, dust, river pollutants, surface floating debris, or atmospheric conditions, while also demonstrating strong wind resistance and anti-vibration capabilities. The optimized algorithm ensures enhanced precision and stability in measurement results.

The Radar Water Level Sensor is an independently developed product that utilizes FMCW (Frequency-Modulated Continuous Wave) technology with a 60GHz millimeter-wave radar signal as the carrier.
It delivers high measurement accuracy, ultra-low power consumption, and a compact, lightweight design, making it ideal for continuous outdoor monitoring applications.

The radar sensor’s non-contact measurement principle ensures stable operation regardless of environmental conditions such as temperature, air pressure, sediment, dust, surface debris, or atmospheric interference.
It also offers excellent wind resistance, anti-vibration performance, and electromagnetic noise immunity.
An optimized signal processing algorithm further enhances accuracy and ensures stable, consistent measurement results in real-world monitoring environments.

2. Principle
Using a transmitter to emit ultra-high frequency electromagnetic waves towards the water surface, When electromagnetic waves hit the water surface and reflect back, the device detects the time difference between the outgoing wave and the echo, thereby calculating the height of the water surface.The reflection effectiveness of the echo signal improves with higher conductivity or greater dielectric constant of the measured medium.

The sensor emits ultra-high-frequency electromagnetic waves toward the water surface.
When these waves strike the surface, they reflect back to the radar antenna. By measuring the time difference between transmission and echo, the device accurately calculates the water surface height.

The strength of the reflected echo signal increases with the conductivity or dielectric constant of the measured medium, ensuring reliable detection even in complex or turbid water conditions.

5. Installation Instructions

5.1 Installation precautions
The device is mounted using a horizontal arm installation method, where two clamps secure the bracket and instrument to the crossbar (crossbar diameter range: 40mm-85mm). ensure the instrument's upper surface remains perpendicular to the water surface during installation.

The radar sensor adopts a horizontal arm mounting structure, where two clamps secure the instrument and mounting bracket onto a crossbar (diameter range 40–85 mm).
During installation, ensure that the radar antenna surface remains perpendicular to the water surface for optimal signal reflection and measurement accuracy.

To achieve stable operation, avoid locations with strong electromagnetic interference, obstructions, or intense vibration sources near the measurement area.

1. Strong anti-interference capability, suppressing narrow wellbore wall interference;
2. Low power consumption, high reliability and maintenance-free;
3. Non-contact measurement, unaffected by ambient temperature/humidity, corrosion-resistant to water media;
4. IP68 protection class, moisture-proof and waterproof;
