1.Introduction

  The bubble water level gauge adopts a micro piston pump as the air-blowing pressure guiding device, which draws water through the measuring tube above the water surface. The pressure sensor then detects and processes the signal to achieve water level measurement. Since the pressure sensor measures the compressed air pressure without direct contact with the liquid, it ensures extremely high stability.

  This device features high precision, advanced intelligence, no need for gas cylinders or measuring wells, maintenance-free operation, vibration resistance, and a long service life. It is particularly suitable for monitoring flowing water bodies, rivers, reservoirs, sewage, and corrosive industrial wastewater.

2.Measurement principle
  External air is purified through an air filter before entering the air pump. The pump compresses the air to generate pressure, which is then rapidly directed through a one-way valve into the air chamber. The gas splits into two paths—one leading to the pressure sensor in the pressure control unit, and the other flowing into the submerged bubble tube.

  When the air pump stops operating, the one-way valve closes, sealing the submerged tube opening with trapped gas. This creates an enclosed cavity connecting the pressure sensor and the submerged tube outlet. Since pressure remains uniform within a sealed gas chamber, the pressure at the bottom of the tube equals that measured by the pressure sensor. By subtracting atmospheric pressure from this value, the net hydrostatic pressure (water head) is obtained. Through calculation and calibration, accurate water level data is derived.
